Placement Policy

This Placement Policy (“Policy”) outlines the conditions, scope, limitations, and expectations relating to placement support provided by Freshskills (“Freshskills”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Policy applies to all learners (“Students”, “Participants”, “you”, “your”) enrolled in eligible programs offered by Freshskills.

By participating in placement activities, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by this Policy and the Terms of Service.


  1. Purpose of the Placement Policy – The purpose of this Policy is to:
  • define the scope of placement assistance services
  • establish eligibility requirements
  • clarify the responsibilities of both Freshskills and Students
  • limit unreasonable expectations regarding job outcomes
  • ensure legal protection and transparency
  • This Policy does not constitute an employment contract or guarantee of employment.
  1. Nature of Placement Assistance – Freshskills provides placement assistance, which may include:
  • resume review, LinkedIn optimisation, and profile enhancement
  • interview preparation and mock interviews
  • soft-skills training
  • job search guidance and mentorship
  • sharing job leads, openings, and referrals
  • connecting Students with partner organisations, where applicable Placement assistance is not an assurance, promise, or guarantee of employment, interview calls, job offers, salary levels, or timeline of placement.

Freshskills does not guarantee:

  • minimum number of interviews
  • minimum number of job opportunities
  • job placement within a particular industry or location
  • job roles with specific compensation packages
  1. Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for placement assistance, Students must:
  • Complete the entire course Including all modules, assignments, projects, assessments, or exams, as defined by Freshskills.
  • Maintain minimum academic performance As required for the respective program (e.g., assignment submissions, project approval).
  • Attend mandatory sessions Including career guidance sessions, resume workshops, and mock interviews.
  • Submit required documents Such as resume, academic certificates, identity proofs, and other documents requested by Freshskills or hiring partners. 
  • Adhere to discipline and conduct Misconduct, plagiarism, harassment, or unprofessional behaviour may result in cancellation of placement assistance.
  • Clear outstanding payments Placement support is provided only to Students who have completed all fee payments.
  • Be actively available for job opportunities Ignoring opportunities, failing to attend interviews, or showing lack of interest may lead to disqualification.
  • Freshskills reserves the right to deny or revoke placement support for non-compliance.
  1. Student Responsibilities – Students must:
  • regularly check emails, WhatsApp messages, dashboards, and communication channels
  • apply promptly to job opportunities shared by Freshskills
  • attend scheduled interviews, assessments, and sessions on time
  • maintain a professional attitude during interactions with employers
  • provide accurate and truthful information in resumes, interviews, and profiles
  • update Freshskills on interview outcomes
  • comply with employer requirements (document submission, assessments, background checks, etc.)
  • Failure to cooperate or repeated unprofessional behaviour may result in withdrawal of placement assistance.
  1. Conduct During Placement Activities – The Student must not:
  • misrepresent skills, qualifications, or experience
  • share confidential employer/job information publicly
  • negotiate on behalf of Freshskills
  • misuse employer contact information
  • display rude, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour
  • withdraw from interviews without valid reasons

Any misconduct may lead to:

  • suspension of placement support
  • termination of assistance
  • legal action, if required
  1. Limitations of Placement Assistance Freshskills is not responsible for:
  • hiring decisions made by employers
  • interview selections or rejections
  • changes in employer requirements
  • withdrawal of job offers by companies
  • delays in hiring processes
  • economic conditions affecting job availability
  • student’s personal circumstances affecting job readiness
  • Freshskills has no control over external employer hiring timelines, eligibility criteria, or processes.
  1. Disclaimer of Guaranteed Outcomes – Freshskills expressly states:
  • We do not guarantee employment or job placement.
  • We do not guarantee a specific salary, job designation, or employer.
  • We do not guarantee job placement within a specific time frame.
  • Any advertisement, communication, verbal assurance, or marketing statement regarding placements must be interpreted as placement assistance, not job guarantee.
  1. Interaction with Employers & Hiring Partners – When interacting with employers:
  • Students are representatives of themselves, not agents of Freshskills
  • Freshskills does not negotiate job terms (salary, role, location) on behalf of Students
  • Students must follow employer-specific recruitment policies and timelines
  • Freshskills may share student profiles with employers but does not influence selection decisions 
  • Any misconduct with employers may result in permanent removal from placement activities.
  1. Withdrawal or Termination of Placement Support – Placement support may be withdrawn if:
  • the Student violates Freshskills Terms of Service
  • the Student provides false information
  • the Student engages in misconduct or unprofessional behaviour
  • the Student repeatedly ignores interviews or opportunities
  • the Student fails to respond to communication for more than 15 days
  • the Student fails to complete mandatory activities
  • The decision of Freshskills shall be final and binding.
  1. Employer Verification & Background Checks – Many companies require:
  • academic verification
  • identity verification
  • employment history
  • address checks
  • criminal background checks

Freshskills is not responsible for any rejection resulting from:

  • discrepancies in student documents
  • background check failures
  • inability to provide required proofs
  • Providing false documentation may lead to permanent blacklisting from placement services.
  1. Placement Fee & Payment Terms : If placement assistance is linked to any fee (course fee or placement fee):
  • all fees must be fully paid before receiving placement services
  • unpaid EMIs or pending payments result in suspension of placement access
  • no refunds are issued for placement-related dissatisfaction 
  • Freshskills does not charge commission or job fees from Students.
  1. Force Majeure – Freshskills shall not be liable for failure or delay in placement assistance due to events beyond reasonable control, including:
  • economic recession
  • pandemic or health emergency
  • regulatory changes
  • market downturn
  • natural disasters
  • employer hiring freezes
  1. No Agent or Employment Relationship – Participation in placement support does not:
  • create an employer–employee relationship between Freshskills and the Student
  • appoint Freshskills as a job placement agency under any labour laws
  • create any contractual obligation for employment 
  • Freshskills is purely an educational and training provider.
  1. Changes to Placement Policy – Freshskills reserves the right to modify, amend, update, or discontinue any part of this Policy at its sole discretion. The updated version will be effective upon posting on the official website. Continued participation in placement activities constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
